Join us in the morning at the pre-arranged time for coffee and toast while kitting up and partake in the chosen number of dives for that day. Ask our dive centre about a 5 or 10 dive package at discounted rates.

Baited Shark Dives

By using a suitable bait stem and bucket suspended at about 8-10m and allowed to drift in the currents, we are able to attract different species of sharks with the specific aim of the Tiger Shark.

Although Tiger Sharks are seasonal visitors (summer months), there are almost always between 20 to 40 oceanic black tips on most baited shark dives. These are pelagic sharks that reach up to 2.5m in length.

Dusky sharks and bull sharks also make the occasional appearance. Diving with these predators is truly an experience of a life time and a major adrenaline rush for sharkaholics.

Baited Shark Snorkel / Free Dive

The Baited Shark Snorkel / Free Dive means you’ll join our shark divers on the same boat. Translating that you’ll have a dive master below and a dive master on the surface with you to get up close and personal with these marine marvels.

We’ll look after you from the minute you arrive at our dive centre. Kitting you up and briefing you on what to expect and how to behave.

Definably a Baited Shark Snorkel / Free Dive is a bucket-list experience and definitely the experience of a lifetime.

Reef Snorkel / Free Dive

On a reef snorkel, you’ll be privy to turtles, dolphins, whales, rays sometimes sharks and the reef fishes we get to swim around every day. Floating in the middle of the ocean gives you a sense of freedom you can’t find on any beach.

Our skipper stays with you while he watches you and the diver’s buoy line.

We take you on the reef snorkel where the divers go. This means that you can join your diving spouse / partner/ family member or friend while they dive. You will get to see the same Ragged Tooth Sharks, White Tips reef sharks, rays, turtles, eels and various other fish life they get to experience.

 

Reef / Wreck Dive

We have 3 wrecks. SS Nebo & MV Produce are both recreational dives while the MS Griqualand is a little deeper for Tek at 50m on the floor.

Wreck diving is quite popular on these wrecks. This is since they have become home to a few resident Brindel Bass (Goliath Grouper) various eels, octopus and bull sharks close by.
