The Unlimited Aliwal Shoal Diving Adventure package is designed for the real die-hard, I wanna see everything diver. This package maximises your dives and dive sites to give you the best Aliwal Shoal experience possible. Aliwal Shoal boasts the most diverse marine life in the world. Because it is also a Marine Protected Area the abundance of life is simply awe inspiring. Aliwal Shoal is home to many different Shark and Ray species all year round. Add to this, 2 of the best wreck dive sites Aliwal Shoal offers a diver diving unmatched by any other location.
Overview
On the Unlimited Aliwal Shoal Diving Adventure you will get to dive all the best dive sites on the Aliwal Shoal Reef System. You will get to dive on our Southern Reefs (conditions dependent) which are deeper and more advanced dive sites for added adventure. These reefs are very seldom dived, and as a result teaming with life. Our 2 awesome wreck dives on Aliwal Shoal, the MV Produce (sank 1974) @ 32m and the Nebo (sank 1884) @ 24m, also make for awesome dives. Last but not least you will get to do several baited shark dives.
You will get to dive on our Southern Reefs (conditions dependent). These are deeper and more advanced dive sites for added adventure. Due to these reefs being very seldomly dived, they are teaming with marine life. Our 2 awesome wreck dives on Aliwal Shoal, the MV Produce (sank 1974) @ 32m and the Nebo (sank 1884) @ 24m, also make for awesome dives. Last but not least you will get to do several baited shark dives.
Every dive will be an Aliwal Shoal Diving Adventure. From diving the Baited Shark Dive (Oceanic Black Tip Sharks), to diving with Ragged Tooth Sharks. Other sharks you can encounter on these dives are Tiger Sharks, Bull Sharks (Zambezi Sharks) and Hammerhead Sharks. Oh, and let’s not forget the numbers of rays, eels, turtles, dolphins and other marine life.
From day 1’s arrival you are looked after by our friendly staff. You will feel at home immediately. When you leave, you’ll leave as a friend.

Arrive King Shaka International Airport (Durban) & Transfer to Blue Ocean Dive Resort (Umkomaas)
Day 2 :
1 x Shark Dive (Oceanic Black Tip Sharks) & 1 x Reef Dive (Aliwal Shoal) *(Plus Additional dives should weather and launch conditions allow)
Day 3 :
2 x Reef Dives (Aliwal Shoal) *(Plus Additional dives should weather and launch conditions allow)
Day 4 :
1 x Tiger Shark Dive & 1 x MV Produce Wreck Dive *(Plus Additional dives should weather and launch conditions allow)
Day 5 :
1 x Reef Dive (Aliwal Shoal) & 1 x Nebo Wreck Dive *(Plus Additional dives should weather and launch conditions allow)
Day 6 :
2 x Reef Dives – (Aliwal Shoal) *(Plus Additional dives should weather and launch conditions allow)
Day 7 :
2 x Rocky Bay Dives on the Southern Reefs
Day 8 :
1 x Baited Shark Dive (Aliwal Shoal) & 1 x Reef/Wreck Dive *(Plus Additional dives should weather and launch conditions allow)

Transfer back to King Shaka International Airport (Durban) or to your Big 5 Safari (Optional Extra) *Itinerary subject to change to accommodate weather conditions
