Loved it!!!! ❤️ The dives delivered all I could wish for. Sharks, dolphins, rays, turtles, colorful fish and beautiful reefs. The dive staff were professional, helpful and outstanding in every way. Everything was organized and I could relax and concentrate about next dive as everything was catered for. My equipment was washed and dried after each dive day. The tank was changed during the surface time between the dives, everything ready for departure the next mooring. The food in the restaurant was fantastic! As well as the team serving us.

Dive with us for an unforgettable experience

Dives generally take place in the mornings to take advantage of the best sea conditions. Coffee and breakfast is served in our restaurant.

We use rubber ducks (zodiacs/ribs) with a maximum of 8 divers, a divemaster and skipper on the boat to access the Aliwal Shoal Dive Sites. The ride out to sea is around 7km from the Mkomazi River mouth which takes about 10-15mins.

Aliwal Shoal forms the crown of a Marine Protected Area, meaning that no form of fishing is allowed on the dive sites. Divers are not allowed to touch the reef, any of the animals or take anything other than a shark teeth from the sand.
